Ornn’s Masterwork Items in League of Legends to Receive Buffs and Changes

Derek Morgan

League of Legends dataminers have discovered several changes in Ornn’s Masterwork items, which are created using Living Forge. While some items have been removed, others have been buffed, including a favorite item among mages.

In a Reddit thread on November 27th, a player shared the changes found by dataminers. The most notable change that caught the attention of the community is the upgrade to Rabadon’s Masterwork item. It will be reintroduced as an Ornn upgrade in 2024 and will now grant 190 AP, compared to the previous 140 AP.

This change has sparked excitement among mages, as Rabadon’s is highly valued for its high AP bonus, despite its expensive cost. With this buff, the item’s value is expected to increase significantly when playing with Ornn in Patch 14.1.

Apart from Rabadon’s, other items like Kraken Slayer and Black Cleaver will also return with improved stats. However, more than a dozen Masterwork upgrades will be removed, while eight new ones will be introduced. Here are the potential new Ornn upgrades for the 2024 season, according to dataminers:

– Caster’s Companion: Force of Arms (AP, Mana, Ability Haste)
– Experimental Hexplate: T.U.R.B.O. (AD, Attack Speed, HP)
– Hubris: Ataraxia (AD, Lethality, Ability Haste)
– Opportunity: Certainty (AD, Lethality, Move Speed)
– Voltaic Cyclosword: Swordnado (AD, Lethality, Ability Haste)
– Nashor’s Tooth: The Baron’s Gift (AP, Attack Speed, Ability Haste)
– Spear of Shojin: Shojin’s Resolve (AD, HP, Ability Haste)
– Stormrazor: Eye of the Storm (AD, Attack Speed)

These changes are part of the 2024 preseason patch scheduled for January 3rd, 2024. However, they have yet to be tested on the PBE servers and may undergo further adjustments before becoming official. Mages eager to try out these changes may join PBE games when Ornn is selected.

Overall, Ornn’s Masterwork items in League of Legends are set to receive buffs and changes, offering new possibilities and strategies for players in the upcoming season.
